Retirement Living History:

In 1996 Stevens formed a joint venture with the highly successful Glen Group to develop Villages on the Central Coast under the banner of the Glen Group.

The first village the combined group developed was the multi-award-winning village Glengara, a success built from the culmination of all the strengths of all the directors. Glengara produced new standards in the industry by developing ‘resort lifestyle’ living and in 2005 it was awarded with the National Award of Best Retirement Village in Australia.

Stevens was also jointly involved in the Forresters Beach Retirement Village, forming the fourth village within the Glen Group. In 2006 the Glen Group villages were sold to the public company Meridian Group.

Moving forward:

The Stevens Group have partnered to form a new joint venture entity to own, develop and operate both horizontal (villas) and vertical (apartments) retirement villages, providing a premium lifestyle offering for seniors.
